What was the highlight of M's Hotel Gojo Odawara
OK
Mostly OK, clean and all the standard points (expect for a comfy bed) are checked.
The bed was very strange und not comfortable for my back, woke up with stiffness and also the sounds it made where not that pleasant (something like glass/metal scratching). Typical Japanese is that it is quite small.

Very good quality hotel that met all our needs.
A really nice clean hotel that had everything we needed. The location was very handy, close to a subway station, bus stop and restaurants. Comfy bed :-)
It didn't effect us really but you would miss having someone at reception to say hello to when coming and going or to ask a question. Someone came out to help us check in when we arrived but after that we didn't see anyone at the reception desk as it's all automated.

Good for solo and stopover stay.
Good location, although a bit of stretch walking to Gojo station, especially if carrying luggage(s). Facilities were clean and design is young and lively. Like the comic corner at the lobby too.
Quite noisy, acoustic insulation not quite there. I could hear people dragging luggages pass the corridor, also heard other lodgers opening and closing doors. In the morning when I was still in bed I also heard noise from the room above, maybe cleaning service, maybe some bedroom action happening.
